Computer Maintenance Program
If you have a personal IBM type computer (Windows 98 for example), you have a System Maintenance Program which you must run regularly to keep you computer functioning properly.  The program deletes unnecessary files, checks the folders and hard drive for errors, and then organizes the files on your hard drive in a proper order.

The Bible is our computer maintenance program.  However, to load the Bible into our system and to save it, we must both read and memorize the Word. To run the system maintenance program, we must regularly meditate upon the Word.

Solomon stated in Proverbs 6:21-22, "Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.  When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee."

Again, the Bible is our system maintenance program. The Word will reveal the unnecessary files of worry, depression, and anxiety, but we must delete them.  The Scripture will uncover errors in our thinking, but we must acknowledge and correct them.  Finally, the Bible will show us how prioritize our daily lives, but we must be willing to do it.

If we fail to run the System Maintenance Program of the Word regularly, we, like our desktop PC, will become sluggish, difficult to operate, and potentially crash.
