Are you faced with making an important decision in your life? We should seek the counsel of others, but can be inundated with many different options. We should do our research, but as much research as we do, we seldom discover all the facts! What can we do?
1. We must understand that God is the source of all wisdom, understanding, and true counsel.
Proverbs 21:30 "There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD."2. We must believe that God desires to guide us.
Psalms 32:8 states, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."3. We must believe that God will direct us and that we have the capacity to follow Him.
In John 10:27 Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:"4. We must humble ourselves and persistently ask until we receive.
In Matthew 21:22, Jesus states, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."5. Finally, we must act in faith.
Paul wrote in Romans 14:23b "... for whatsoever is not of faith is sin."If you just don't know which way to turn and need some one to help direct you in godly counsel, please call (325) 651-9516.
