A Sudden Attack

O.K., so you have prayed and God has given you a vision.  GREAT!  But beware!  You have an enemy who wants to interfere with and stop God's work through you.

He also likes to use the tactic of surprise to get you off tract.   You may have just sit down to witness to someone and the phone or doorbell rings.  You may start your mission and suddenly disaster strikes.  There seems to be no way to finish the vision.  You may start the project and suddenly other church members, friends, and even your family turn against you.

The enemy may even use the tactic of allurement.  He may send someone to you with what seems to be a better and more reasonable plan.  It is all right to examine your vision, but there will be a test of your faith.

One day, Jesus got a word from the Father to sail to the other side of the lake of Galilee.  He and his disciples set sail.  Then suddenly a big storm stuck.  The disciples awoke Jesus with the attacking words, "Master, don't you care if we perish?"  Jesus questioned their faith and simply rebuked the storm.  When they reached the other side, Jesus set free two demon possessed men and at least one of the two began to spread the Gospel to the whole region.
