Petrified With Fear
I have a piece of petrified wood which I inherited from my Dad.
He picked it up out in Arizona in the area of the petrified forest.
Just think of it, creation scientists believe that the wood was petrified
at the time of Noah's flood. It was suddenly buried with great pressure
under the debris of mud when the flood came and the fountains of the deep
This piece of petrified wood reminds me of fear. Fear may creep in when there is an upheaval in our lives and the pressures of life come. It freezes us in our tracts and even in time. It takes away the truth and faith and leaves us with lies and doubt. Fear, indeed, is a heavy burden to carry. It often leaves one dead, cold, and hard hearted.
However, we should see that God doesn't want us to live in fear for the Word says that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. David said, "I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." If you have been petrified with fear and want to regain you life, please contact me at Whole Person Counseling.
